Slip factor of the hydrodynamic pumps
Chromek, Lukáš ; Himr, Daniel (referee) ; Klas, Roman (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the initial draft of an impeller wheel, determination of its specific energy that has a pump with infinite number of impeller blades and following correction to real specific energy of an impeller wheel pump with finite number of blades. The correction will be performed using different methods by various authors and some of the methods will also be compared during the calculation of specific energy and discharge head of pump of several real impeller wheels. Then the thesis goes on to deal with some of the effects arising from the flow of fluid in the impeller wheel that often have negative influence on above-mentioned specific energy. At the end of the thesis, there will be brief abstract on problems of the correction, simulation, and analysis of flow in a blade channel using CFD software.
Pumps for the chemical and food industry and their properties
Malíková, Veronika ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Škorpík, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with pumps used in the chemical and food industry. These pumps have their specific properties. The first part of the thesis is focused on the problems of pumps in the given industry, the principle of pumps, possible adverse phenomena and demands placed on pumps in the food or chemical industry. The second part describes the pump application in the technological unit and its properties.
Study of the vortex impeller pump design
Červinka, Martin ; Koutný, Luděk (referee) ; Klas, Roman (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with problems of design a sludge pump with a vortex impeller. Clearly summarizes the basic information on hydrodynamic pumps with a significant focus on sludge pumps. It contains a design of a vortex impeller, which is supported by CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) calculation in software Fluent. The aim of the work is to design vortex impeller, which could replace the existing channel impeller while maintaining the operating parameters of the pump.
